Actress Anna Paquin is engaged to Stephen Moyer. Moyer is Paquin’s co-star in the HBO vampire show “True Blood”. According to People magazine, representatives for both actors have confirmed their engagement. In the HBO vampire show, Paquin plays Sookie Stakhouse while Stephen Moyer plays her vampire lover Bill. It is reported that the newly engaged couple has been dating since February.
27-year-old Anna Paquin told AOL Television that her relationship with Stephen made her feel very comfortable during acting and even the filming of hot sex scenes became easier.
Paquin said,
“Obviously, if you’re already with that person then you’re not having to sort of get over the ‘Wow, I’m naked with someone that I don’t even know the middle name of!’”
The New Zealand actress, Anna Paquin is very talented. She was only 11 years old when she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in the movie “The Piano”, in 1994. She is the second youngest winner to earn this award. She is best known for her role in X-Men movies, in which she played a character named Rogue. She is also a well-known stage actress and she began her theater career in 2001. For her amazing performance she won the Theater World Award in 2001-2002. She also won a Golden Globe award earlier this year for her outstanding performance in “True Blood”. Anna Paquin is fond of cycling and surfing and she lives in Los Angeles.

I have recently been able to watch “True Blood” on AXN, a cable TV channel available in Taiwan, and I’m hooked. I hope that my friendly neighborhood DVD-rental shop will be getting both Season One and Two of the DVD box-set soon, so I will be able to re-watch Season One and then go on to Season Two. Oh, joy! And I wonder how being married to one another will affect the relationship the two leads have on the production set, but more importantly — congratulations to Stephen and Anna.
