On February 8, 1910, the Boy Scouts of America was officially incorporated. The Boy Scouts of America is better known as BSA. When the BSA was incorporated back in 1910, the Americans used to drive Stanley steam automobiles and the average annual earning at that time was $750. At that time, the price of a gallon of milk was about 30 cents.

Now, everything has changed and most of the things of that time are not even available as the needs of modern times are also changed. But a fact is that, the Boy Scouts of America was not only a vital organization at time but also a needed organization of the modern age. After a century, the Boy Scouts of America is still performing its purposes and it is more relevant now.

Since its founding, more than 100 million members have served in the BSA. Now, the Boy Scouts of America has reached a its centennial anniversary milestone which is truly amazing. The Chief Scout Executive of the Boy Scouts of America, Bob Mazzuca said,

“This country needs strong leaders and healthy young people more than ever before, and that is what Scouting is all about,”

Bob Mazzuca added,

“This is our time in history to remind the nation that Scouting is more vibrant, more vital, and more relevant than ever before. Every day, millions of Scouts and adult leaders make a huge difference in our society. We look forward to continuing that commitment in the next century.”
