Baltimore Washington International Airport is surrounded by highways and it is about 10 miles outside of Baltimore, Maryland. It is located between the cities of Washington, D.C and Baltimore, and serves the people of both metropolitan areas very successfully. The only reason behind is that the other airports in the region are very far away so being a low-cost alternative the number of passengers using Baltimore airport and as a result it has dramatically increased day by day.
The name, Hurgood Marshall, was added to the name of the airport in early 2007 in honor of its native son the Hon.
Airport building having terminal amenities which include conference rooms for rent, information desks shopping and dining concessions and USO. While the International Gateway Lounge at the Lower Level. Also Baltimore/Washington International is proud to serve US troops with a 5,000 square foot USO facility as well.
Airport provides various quality services in order to serve there customer’s in a professional way these services includes Business services, parking Options, ATM & Currency Exchange, Internet access, Restaurants & Stores, Airport Shuttles, Guest Services, Lost/Found, Rental cars and religious facility. For Business people a conference room for rent is available at the Upper Level of the Marshall Thurgood Terminal 7 days a week. For Parking it is provide both Hourly and daily garage services. Hourly garage right across the terminal complex, the daily garage behind it and the Express Parking lot opposite the daily parking garage. There are also 8 Pay-and-Go machines in the Daily Garage located at the bus lobby areas.
To get from the Airport to your destination, you have many options which Airport provides to its Passengers. You have the option of Taking taxi or limo, renting a car, Airport shuttle, public bus or train, the super shuttle or Light Rail service is also available to downtown Baltimore, Hunt Valley and Timonium.
