Chris Drury: Vancouver Olympics Ice Hockey

USA got a victory over Canada in men’s Ice Hockey 2010 Winter Olympic match with a score of 5-3. In the Sunday night match there were only three American players having the Olympic experience who provided the bulk of the offenses. These players are Chris Drury, Brian Rafalski scoring twice and captain Jamie Langen Brunner. Drury scored 3-2 with his second of the tournament with 3:14 left in the second. They defeated Switzerland, Norway and now Canada and got a first-place finish in Group A. Now they can get the gold medal after just three more wins.

Christopher Drury or Chris Drury is a hockey player of the USA team. His nickname is “McDrury”. He was born on August 20, 1976 and at present he is the captain of the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League (NHL). He has won Olympic silver medal with United States of America, a Stanley Cup win with the Colorado Avalanche, and an a Hobey Baker Award with Boston University. He has also won the Little League Baseball World Series Championship with his homeland team from Trumbull, Connecticut as a child.

Being a New York Rangers captain he has played a major role for United States men’s hockey team in getting victory over Norway in Winter Olympic 2010. In addition to that he has also played an excellent role in the yesterday’s match against Canada and due to his magnificent role his team got victory over Canada. In the stadium that was packed with the fans it was not easy to get the victory but strategically planned game, its execution along with the individual efforts made them beat Canada.
