Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
Walt Disney Pictures has decided to remake the 1989 hit comedy movie “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids”, according to an Australian website. The original Honey, I Shrunk the Kids starred Rick Moranis as Wayne Szalinski and it was directorial debut of Joe Johnston. Rick Moranis entertained everyone in the role of scientist who accidentally shrinks his kids and his neighbor’s kids to 1/4 of an inch with his electro-magnetic shrink ray and later on sends them out into the backyard with the trash.
The website whatsplaying.com.au quotes a crew member from the original film,
“It won’t be a sequel to the other films – if only because Mr. Moranis has retired. Not sure how far it is along, but it is in the works.”
The newer version of the movie is without the original cast, according to reports.
