WAP:
1. On the main menu, click on the icon Browser
2. Select Browser Setting
3. Select Set Profile, Click on Profile Name
4. Rename it to ‘Mobile-Service-Provider-Name’
5. Select Edit.
6. Go to Bearer Type and choose GPRS
7. Key in the following:
a. User Name: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name
b. Password: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name
c. APN: wap
d. Authentication: PAP
8. Go to WAP Setting and key in the following:
- a. Primary IP: 27.0.0.1 (Get from Mobile Service Provider)
- b. Primary Port: 9201
- c. Homepage: http://wapMobile-Service-Provider-Name.com
9. Return to the main menu, press “Start Browser” and you are now ready to access
Mobile-Service-Provider-Name GPRS
MMS:
Step 1: Configuration on WAP settings
1. From the main menu, go to Messages
2. Select MMS > Server List > [Empty Profile] > Edit
3. For each of the fields enter accordingly:
- a. Bearer Type: GPRS
4. Select Edit
- a. User Name: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name
- b. Password: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name
- c. APN: mms
- d. Authentication: PAP
- e. Profile Name: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name_MMS
- f. Primary IP: 27.0.0.1 (Get from Mobile Service Provider)
- g. MMS Centre: http://mmsMobile-Service-Provider-Name
5. Exit to the MMS menu and select Server List > Mobile-Service-Provider-Name_MMS > Set As Active
Step 2: Configuring the Message Option
1. From the main menu, go to Messages
2. Select Broadcasts > Receive > Enable
