Penn State Student Found Dead

September 22, 2009

A Penn state student Joseph Dado was found dead in the campus. His body was found on Monday at about 6 pm in the stairwell between Steidle Building and Hosler Building. He apparently seemed to fall from 15 feet height.
The death of Joseph Dado is very sad and tragic moment. It seems that accident could be avoided.
Joseph Dado was 18 and he was studying the Engineering. Recently he graduated from Greater Latrobe Senior High School. Last time he was seen at 3 A.M when he was leaving Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. His friends got worried when he didn’t come back and was not even answering the phone calls.
Joseph’s parents were in the campus on Monday. Assistant Principal Steven LoCascio said,

“He was a very good student, as evident by the fact that he was in a fine institution like Penn State. He was a nice athlete as well – very well-liked by peers and students.”

This university had a history of such type of accidents. Same like accidents happened in October 2007, March 2008 and May 2009.
This is a fact that Joseph’s death is extremely hard to bear by his family and friends. It is, truly, an unfortunate event.
