Predators movie 2010 Review
March 13, 2010
Last night at Southwest Film Festival, Robert Rodriguez showed up the scenes from Fox’s upcoming movie, “Predator”. This Predator is remake of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s “Predators” and Robert Rodriguez is the producer of new movie while Nimrod Antal is the director of film. During question and answer session, Rodriguez said that the film had a long history with it. He said that director of “Desperado” had initially written the draft for a third entry in the “Predator” franchise in the mid-90s in which Arnold Schwarzenegger had also to participate, but the project went into limbo after Arnold refused invitation. That was a fascinated story in which Arnold had to fight with enemies on the other planet.
Last year, Fox contacted with Rodriguez and asked if he was interested in project. Rodriguez who was busy due to directorial responsibilities decided that his Austin-based Troublemaker Studios would produce it. The film is expected to release on 9th July. Last night, they just revealed a trailer. The official trailer will be publicized in a few weeks however, the teaser is available for viewing on the official “Predator” Web Site. Greg Nicotero— special effect wizard and veteran of the 1987 “Predator”–was also presented there and discussed about the handcrafted effects in the film.
That was a scene in which Adrien Brody, the leader of the bunch, told his companions about the enemies saying those were the worst killers on planet but that planet was not theirs.
