A year ago, government had approved a heavy amount of $787 billion (under Recovery Act) in stimulus allocations to boost up the falling economy and after one year, records show that some states have made great performances. Recovery.gov is the federal government website that is linked with State’s websites. The states was given responsibility to use there respective funds in different projects like information-technology, broadband development, health and energy smart grids.

The Obama had made it clear that all the states will undergo checking and accountability. According to the records by “Good Jobs”, states like Kentucky, Illinois, Minnesota and Utah have made most dramatic progress and have got 2nd, 7th, 4th and 24th position respectively as compared to their previous ratings that were 47th, 50th, 34th and 24th. Maryland is at the top of the list

Their scores are as follows Maryland (87), Kentucky (85), Connecticut (80), Colorado (72) and Minnesota (72).
