Sandra Diaz Twine

The 34-year-old Northern California resident once again proved herself and got the maximum points. Sandra Diaz-Twine was declared winner on “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” and it was the second time when she had proved herself and declared winner. Talking about that victory, she said that she was feeling like a queen and she was just speechless. She had tough competition with 37-year-old oil company owner Russell Hantz and 27-year-old former boxer Parvati Shallow. She was awarded with the $1 million grand prize. The episode was aired Sunday on CBS.

There were a total of 20 contestants on show, all divided in groups of good guys and bad. Diaz-Twin never won a physical challenge then, how she proceeded into final three? The answer lies in her catty alliance on the villain’s tribe that had torn into pieces by partners Hantz (“Samoa”) and Shallow (“Cook Islands,” “Micronesia”). Hantz responded on her win by saying that there must be a flaw in the game show as she had won it for twice. Former rancher Colby Donaldson said that he had never quit in his life and he would make a comeback in the show if finds any chance later in life.

Hantz who had won the final immunity challenge received zero points from nine-person jury. He responded by saying that he did everything he could do. Hants played “Survivor” for a record 114 days and dominated physical challenges and hidden immunity idols. The 21st season starts in Nicaragua and will feature a brand new set of survivors.
