Step 1: Configuring the Service settings
1. From the main menu, go to Setup
2. Select Connectivity and go to Data services
3. Go to MMS, WAP and select Empty 2 (or any empty/unused account)
4. Go to Options and select Rename
a. Profile Name: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name_MMS
5. Select GPRS settings, and press Edit:
- a. APN: mms
- b. Login name: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name
- c. Password: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name
- d. Click Save
Step 2: Configuring the Message settings
1. From the main menu, go to Messages
2. Select Message setup and then MMS
3. Go to Options
a. Rename: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name_MMS
4. Change settings:
- a. Expiry time: Maximum
- b. Retrieval: Automatic
- c. MMS relay server: http://mmsMobile-Service-Provider-Name
- d. Enter IP settings as follows:
- i. IP Address: 27.0.0.1 {get detail from Mobile service provider}
- ii. Port: 9201
- e. Connection Profile: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name_MMS (as above)
