Step 1: Configuring the Service settings
1. From the main menu, go to Setup and then select Settings
2. Select Connection and go to Access points
From Access Points menu, select Options
3. Select New Access point and choose Use default settings:
- a. Connection Name: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name_MMS
- b. Data bearer: GPRS
- c. Access point name: mms
- d. Username: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name
- e. Prompt Password: No
- f. Password: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name
- g. Authentication: Normal
- h. Gateway IP address: 27.0.0.1 {get detail from Mobile service provider}
- i. Homepage: http://mmsMobile-Service-Provider-Name
- j. Connection Security: off
- k. Session mode: Permanent
Step 2: Configuring the Message settings
1. From the main menu, go to Messages
2. Select Options and then Settings and go to MMS
- a. Preferred connection: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name_MMS
- b. Secondary connection: Mobile-Service-Provider-Name_MMS
- c. MMS reception: Always on
- d. On receiving message: Retrieve immediately
- e. Allow anon. messages: Yes
- f. Receive adverts: Yes
- g. Receive report: Yes
- h. Deny Report sending: No
- i. Message validity: Maximum time
- j. Image size: Small
- k. Default speaker: Handset
