Temple Grandin biography

Doctor of animal science at Colorado State University, Temple Grandin is well known for her published works and work with the livestock industry. Not only is this she is also a consultant to the livestock industry in animal behaviour. As a person with high-functioning autism she is widely noted for her work in autism advocacy. She also designed a hug machine to calm hypersensitive persons. Grandin was born in Boston and in 1950 she was diagnosed as autistic. At the age of two she was diagnosed with brain damage she was placed in structured nursery school. In the early age a doctor suggest speech therapy for her and at the age of four she began talking.
Gardian says that the middle school and high school were the worst parts of her life and people called him tape recorder. In 1960 she completed her graduation from Hampshire country school and in 1970 she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Franklin Pierce College. In 1975 she masters in animal from Arizona State University and in 1989 she received her PhD. in animal science from the University of Illinois at Urbane Champaign.
