Tiny Tim’s “Tiptoe Through the Tulips” sang by Herbert “Tiny Tim” was one of the most famous songs of the country. Herbert “Tiny Tim” made it popular when he performed on this song in a TV show resulting in making millions of fans. Since 1960’s Tiny Tim was a novelty singer. He married Miss Vicky in 1969 on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” but after 8 years they got divorced. They have a daughter Tulip Victoria who lives in Pennsylvania.
After 40years Brian Krause 27 years old from Pittsburgh sang the same song when he was giving performance in an audition of the TV show American Idols. But this time the performance was so bad that the judges thought as if he was not there for singing but for joking. He walked in front of the Judges to perform on the song “Tiptoe through the Tulips annoying Simon Cowell. According to Cowell Krause had to be joking but Krause replied that he wasn’t joking.
He was a military man and he said that he used to sing during the period when he was serving army. He said that he wanted to be in the army but the army was depressing and when he started singing, the judges were shocked listening his singing. Using his worst falsetto voice he delivered really a bad performance on this classic song but he swore on his mother’s life that he was being serious.
It seems that every episode of the show American Idols with every good singer also brings at least three bad singers and this episode was not different from the others. First it was the General Larry Platt who gave us pants on the ground and then it was the Brian Krause who gave us Tiny Tim.
