It was believed that respected singer and songwriter Vic Chesnutt had attempted a suicide due to which he was in coma. This was said by Spinner now according to the resources he has dead. He was of 45 years at the time of his death. Sources have confirmed this news. San Francisco’s examiner has said that he died just after an hour of going into the coma. He was well established in Anthens, Ga music scene. Michael Stipe first admired him in late 80’s and after that he won the admiration of many musicians and songwriters.
His national profile was raised in 1996 when many contributors covered his songs like REM, Garbage, Madonna and Smashing Pumpkins. This was for the benefit of the musician that has no health insurance. Due to a car accident in the age of 18 years Chesnutt was left on the wheel chair, with the troubles of lifetime. Sarcastically and unfortunately he has the health insurance but was not eligible to have the financial help from the Sweet Relief despite has to struggle to cover his high health care cost.

Recently Chesnutt was battling with his hard time and he was caught be depression and large financial issues. Before his death he told spinner about his debt and suing matter of his hospital. According to spinner hospital was suing him foe $35000. His debt was totaled more than $ 50000.

His catalogue includes 13 studio albums. Last September in an interview with Spinner, he told that Chesnutt admitted that being an artist he was difficult to cubicle into one specific variety.

The news of his condition was spread firstly through the Internet on Wednesday. It was spread through Twitter that was posted by Kristin Hersh because he had a close association with Chesnutt.

Both as a man and musician the people will remember him also for his songs. May his soul rest in peace.
